A single parchment sheet, dated 9 May 1592, a schedule of persons in Southwark, including St Saviour, whom
the tax commissioners certify have either died, departed or conveyed their goods elsewhere, and thus the collectors
are unable to collect the sums assessed against them for the first payment of the subsidy levied by Parliament on
17 March 1589.
The document includes names from St Saviour, St Olave, and St Thomas.
Only the three names from St Saviour are included here (two of them strangers by poll).
