Sanders, Richard, of St Saviour, surgeon.  Testator is weak in body.  He has a house is ‘scituate on the Bankeside’.  But he seems to be abroad, perhaps in Flushing, perhaps aboard the ship Dolphin.  He has received £4·8s as ‘my parte of the portingall prises’, and asks Thomas Pory to return this money to England for him, half to be given to the poor of St Saviour parish, the other half to the poor of Watermen's Hall.  He asks his wife to pay custom duties on the twelve pounds of tobacco ‘wch I brought home in Sr Walter Rawleis voyage’

Syer, George, ‘one of the Jurates of the auntiente Towne of Rye’.  Perhaps not of St Saviour; but see bequests.  Bequests to the poor of St Saviour; of Rye; of St Thomas Hospital in Southwark; to the poor of the French Church living in Rye; to the poor in the three Southwark prisons, the White Lion, the Marshalsea, and the King's Bench, and the London prisons, Newgate, Ludgate, and the counters in Poultry and Wood Street.  NOTE: a Memorandum appended, extending the deadlines for payment of certain of the bequests; and a supplementary will, on f.8r-v, adding further legacies, including his shop in Brookland, Kent, held of Richard Yewell and Richard Warcoppe.
