Yardley, Ralph, of St Saviour, citizen and merchant tailor of London.  Testator is in good health of body.  Bequests to the poor of St Saviour parish ‘where I nowe dwell’; to the vestrymen of the parish; and to ‘such of the Bachelers and sixtene men of the companie of Merchaunttailors London as shall accompany my body to buriall’.  Testator leaves his unidentified freehold lands, messuages and tenements in Southwark to his five children.

Family members named:  Rhoda his wife.  Raphe, George, John, Thomas and Anne Yardley his underage children.  His sister Palmer and his cousin John Palmer her husband.  His daughter Earby to have his first wife's wedding ring; his son Erbye her husband.  Richard Yearwood his cousin.  Thomas Yardley his brother.  No other legatees. 
Executor:  Raph Yardley his son. 
Overseers:  Richard Yerwoode and Edward Earbye his son. 
Witnesses:  John Hall, notary public; Hugh Treswell his apprentice; John Alanson.

Yates, Thomas, of St Saviour, brewer.  Testator is sick in body. 
Date written:  1650 October 12. 
Date proved:  1650 October 18. 
Family members named:  Hanna Yates, Grace Yates, and Susanna Yates his three underage daughters.  Joan Walker his sister, and William Walker her son.  No other legatees. 
Co-Executors:  Ralph Cowen and John Lane.  No overseers named.

Yarwood, Katherine, of St Saviour, widow.  Testator affirmed her will with a mark not a signature.  She is weak in body.  A bequest to the poor of St Saviour parish, and an annuity to be given to four poor people in the parish, the recipients to be determined by her sons.  A further bequest to her overseers ‘to be bestowed on such Christian poore as they think fitt’.  Has an inn called the Queen's Head in Southwark.  Has property in All Hallows Barking by the Tower, leased from the ‘Master brethren and Sisters’ of St Katherine's Hospital.

Yonge, John, of St Saviour, Master of Arts, late of Pembroke Hall, Cambridge.  Claims to be ‘in perfecte health of bodie’.  Asks to be buried in St Saviour church.  Bequests to the poor of St Saviour and to ‘the poore Schollers of the Little house in Pembrooke hall in Cambridge’.  Has a ‘messuage or Inne and backsyde and garden’ in Southwark called The Spur, which he occupies.

Family members named:  Anne his wife.  His mother Bowmer.  Elizabeth Yong his unmarried sister.  Anne Coverte his sister, wife of Thomas Coverte, and their underage children Thomas and Anne.  Alice Francklyn his sister, wife of Gregory Francklyn.  Joan Allen his sister, wife of Abraham Allen, and their son Isaac.  His brother Henry Yonge and his several daughters.  His uncles William Emerson and John Emerson, and John's son Thomas Emerson.
